Brunswick Street Galley in Melbourne presents their annual Small Works Art Prize which shows artworks by artists at all stages of their career practicing throughout Australia and beyond.

‘Fishes’ was inspired by my love for the humble and salty sardine. I have recently grown to love painting these small and scaly creatures. I find immense joy & pleasure in bringing colour and intricate detail into the scales, fins, eyes and shadows that these small fish possess.
