Job Description: Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Manager to join our team at Sarah Smith. As a part-time Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our brand within the creative industry. You will be responsible for implementing innovative campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and ultimately, sales. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives to effectively reach target audiences and drive growth.
  2. Campaign Management: Conceptualise, plan, and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media and email, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding.
  3. Content Creation: Create compelling and engaging content, including copywriting and other multimedia assets, to captivate our audience and enhance brand visibility.
  4. Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, informing strategic decision-making and optimising marketing efforts.
  5. Analytics and Optimisation: Monitor campaign performance, analyse data metrics, and identify areas for improvement to optimise marketing strategies and maximise ROI.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  2. Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in marketing, preferably within the arts or creative industries.
  3. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise deadlines effectively.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with stakeholders.
  5. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including but not limited to email marketing and analytics software.
  6. Can work remotely.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM techniques and best practices.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for the arts and culture.
